"The nineteenth annual convention of the Alabama Sunday School association will be held in the town of Troy, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 22-24, 1902.

The basis of representation is as follows, to-wit: Five delegates at large from each county, all ministers of the gospel, the superinten dent and two delegates from each Sunday school. 0 The railroads have granted reduced rates to delegates attending the convention. Each delegate desiring to obtain the reduced rate must purchase ticket to Troy at the regular tariff rate and at the same time procure from 'the ticket agent a certificate of the standard form. If through ticket can not be'procurd at the starting point, the person should purchase to the most convenient at which Such ticket can be obtained and there repurchase to Troy, procuring a certificate from each agent from whom a ticket is purchased. Tickets" for the return home will be sold at one-third the firstclass fare to persons holding cer tificates properly signed by the officers of the convention.

The delegates attending the con vention will be entertained by the Sunday school workers of Troy. The delegates attending the conven tion should send their names to Joel D. "Trouble over the Russian occupation of Manchuria is the cause of the trouble, said Captain Smith, "and the Japanese are spoiling for a chance to whip some one. They are making all preparations for the scrap that must come very soon. When it does come England will be forced to help to Mikado's army, and the war may involve all Europe. In the meantime, the Russians are pushing work on the rail road across and to this the Japanse haVe no objections. Russia, however, must defend the road against the attack of the natives.

Mr. Willett is one of the prominent ment men of Alabama. Since his "long talk" before the chiefs of Tammany in New York a couple of years ago, and addresses in the east, he' has become a national character. Mr. Willett came here oa, business.
